South Shields Volunteer Lifeguards Club attends local events to promote water safety in the pool, ponds & rivers and the beach.  As we are a seaside community it is important for everyone to understand the dangers, how to avoid them and what to do.

Westoe Village Fayre

Saturday 21st June 2025

From 12pm

This year, South Shields Volunteer Lifeguards will be present at the Westoe Village Fayre.

 

Join us to meet our mascots, Perry Man from the RLSS and our very own Belle Bennett, starting at 12pm.

 

Our volunteer lifeguards will also be available to demonstrate how to stay safe this summer.

All of our members are volunteers and give up their time to attend the events we go to.  We would love to attend more events and sessions but are limited to our volunteers availability.  If you would like to express an interest in the Club coming to your event or session, we would live to hear from you.
