BEACH SESSIONS

We run beach sessions from Mowbray Lifeguard Station (next to The Sandancer Pub) from May until August.

 

All senior members are invited to attend the sessions and members complete the beach award strand.

Beach sessions allow our members to gain the bolt on rookie awards along with the open water awards. Our Beach Trainer Assessors are also qualified to deliver the new Rookie beach awards that have launched in 2025.

Our senior section members can work on their open water skills and awards to develop through this strand of the National Lifesaving Academy awards.
