ROOKIE SESSIONS

Our Rookie sessions are held at Boldon School pool, New Road, Boldon Colliery NE35 9DS on a Saturday 5.00pm-6.00pm. Our Rookies are aged 5 - 11 years.

Our Rookies follow The Royal Lifesaving Society UK's Rookie Lifeguard award program. From Achievement level to Gold Level. The awards cover water safety, personal survival, self rescue and rescue techniques. 

​

We encourage Rookies to purchase their own Rookie Lanyard and book to track their award progress. Awards can be purchased as and when they have been completed. The book, pouch and lanyard is £6.00 and can be purchased at our Rookie sessions.
